Scope
A new 48-patient hospital building to be built on the hospital grounds.
Solwers company Lukkaroinen Arhitects’ proposal “Huomassa” was chosen as the winner of the architectural competition. Lukkaroinen Architects is responsible for the principal and interior design of the project. The decisive factor was the proposal’s functionality and safety. Other Solwers companies involved in the project: LVI-Insinööritoimisto Meskanen, Insinööritoimisto W. Zenner and Finnmap Infra.
Approach
The new building will be in a nationally significant built cultural environment. The starting point of the design solution was to create a new patient building that complements the old milieu and serves as a safe and comfortable environment for patients and staff.
Outcome
The project will be completed in 2026.
